Karen Holder
Conquering Giants, Celebrating Victories

Karen, through her gospel ministry, shares with her audience how they too can conquer their Goliaths and celebrate every victory by declaring the word of God for their lives.

On Karen’s journey to success she encountered many Goliaths that launched their attack in the battlefield of the mind. She conquered these Goliaths by clothing herself with the armor of God.

Leaving her native country, Trinidad, in 2001 for a life in the US, Karen’s journey was filled with trials. With no job, little money and the fear of failure her faith was tested greatly; however she soon recognized that she needed to wage war on the enemy to keep from accepting defeat.
Like David, Karen trusted God and found her identity in him. Being involved in ministry in her local church in New York, her faith was built by spending time in God’s presence.

Karen’s talent for singing was proven in Trinidad when she won two trophies in the Local Gospel Song Festival and then again in the New York Metropolitan Area in 2009 where she won the Local Gospel Star Search. Also like David, it is this proven talent that she uses to testify of God’s unfailing love and promises and to encourage others to stir up the conqueror in them and live a victorious life.

Karen serves as a Worship Leader and Coordinator of the Performing Arts Ministry. She is married to Elder Richard Holder and has one son Joshua.
